Sharing is caring!

A compilation of some valuable would you rather questions to ask your kids, Funny questions to ask a kid, questions to ask your child about school, open-ended questions for kids, and questions to ask kids to get to know them to edify your communicating relationship and bond in general

Positive communication with our children helps them develop healthily and strengthens our bond with them and this is something all parents should constantly work towards. I cannot overemphasize that communication is really a critical element in a parent-child relationship and in raising children.

It’s funny because you wouldn’t think it needs to be because it comes naturally to all of us but you do need to be thoughtful about your communication, the questions and words you used to interact with your kids because it is the foundation for your relationship with your child as he or she grows up and for his or her ability to find out things, to understand the world, to have his or her emotional needs met. It’s really important!

I will encourage you to make sure that there’s plenty of time in your daily life for your child and you can just talk, schmooze, go over your day, and communicate effectively even about the most little things.

Sometimes it’s bedtime, sometimes it’s when you are in the car which is, by the way, my favorite time to talk to a child, on the dinner table, in your room, or theirs. I

n all, it is critically important that you make out time to talk with your child, understand them, bond them, be honest with your child, and that you always answer what they ask, that you never say you shouldn’t ask that question, you’re too young to know that, I’ll talk to you about it when you’re older because that will shut down your child asking you questions.

Now if you are on a bridge on what to communicate about with your smaller or older kids or you are in search of the right conversation starters to disrupt the silence between you and your child I have created a list of some would you rather questions to ask your kids, funny questions to ask a kid, questions to ask your child about school, open-ended questions for kids and questions to ask kids to get to know them and effectively communicate.

These questions in general will allow you to engage and interact with your kids and get a peek at what is going on inside their curious minds. You’ll also be able to get an insight into their likes, dislikes, emotions and get them to think creatively about their answers.

After asking your kids these questions and hearing their answers you can in turn answer the questions. These questions can also be answered by adults. This can be adopted as a fun and bonding activity that the family can indulge in after dinner time. These questions are open-ended and will get your kids to think properly about their responses, they can also be added into their daily journal and be used as discussion prompts.
